You forgot to enter into your profile that Judge Hawkins attended the University of Virginia. Also, by 'private practice' do you mean law firms like Bryan Cave? Just thought you might like to know. :-)

I was appalled that Judge Hawkins thought that FBI agent Horiuchi should not be put on trial in Idaho for the shooting death of Randy Weavers wife. His "law enforcement can do no wrong" mentality does our nation a grave disservice. A basic of democracy is that nobody is above the law, not even Federal agents.

Judge Hawkins is one of the most admired men that I have known. He has always been a person of great integrity and honesty.
