I read Pregerson's dissenting opinion on the Douglas Gretzler case, http://laws.findlaw.com/9th/9599023.html, a particularly heinous case in which the defendant brutally murdered and and terrorized 17 people and was appalled. Thank God the majority of the judges in this appeal did not share his flawed thinking. Gretler was executed today 6/4/98, may his soul burn in hell.
